He Toki Koe Stamp

He Toki Koe is a figure of speech used to express how great and talented a person is at something.

The mangōpare pattern, commonly seen within kōwhaiwhai in whare tupuna, represents the hammerhead shark and symbolises perserverance and strength — traits required to master a skill or talent.
